Schematic cross-section of top and bottom of Compound Shape baffle.
This is a top view schematic cross-section of the Compound Shape baffle. The
RD75 driver is represended at the bottom of the tracing. Two wood pieces are
shown, a 1.5" x 1.5" and a 0.75" x 0.75". The 1.5" square piece is the
mounting point for the baffle itself; and, the 0.75" square is the mounting
point for the RD75 driver. The 1.5" x 1.5" piece is heavily
tapered at the top, the photos of the new test jig in the 'Construction' section
show the tapering.
It should be understood that this baffle was constructed as a prototype
and the test jig framework would not be used in a freestanding 'production'
version.
