Detail of crossbar. Crossbars mounted on springs for initial alignment purposes. After alignment crossbars will be permanently fixed in place in the oak framework with epoxy putty. The goal is to align the crossbars in their front-to-back axis to a top to bottom linearity of 1 mil or less over the distance spanned by the four crossbars!
