These photos are current as of December 26, 1998. The 'micrometer' straight edge is mostly complete. Main assembly of the ribbons has started, in that the aluminum crossbars have been epoxied in place in each red oak framework. The variable front-to-back ribbon adjustors have been completed. Numerous small details remain to be solved/invented. More than 500 magnets per speaker are planned.
Actually cutting the ribbons remains to be done, problems are anticipated.
