Apex Jr. is a distributor of mostly closeout merchandise, albeit with a more stable
inventory than many other surplus/closeout dealers. Several of its drivers have
been recommended as excellent performers and great values.
- One exceptional driver is its 1" shielded soft dome tweeter, abbreviated
SSDT in Sections 8 and 12.
Although Fs is quite high for a 1" dome at 1473 Hz, its performance when
crossed over above 2.5 kHz is reportedly outstanding. At only $10/ea,
this is, by all reports, a great choice for affordable multimedia or HT
systems.

- A recent addition is the Super
8" compact subwoofer. A high-Q design well suited to sealed
box or dipole mounting, it's impressed all who've heard it.
